So what does the average university student do to make money? Sorry, I can't answer that. Not saying that I'm any better or worse than average, I'm only saying that I don't really know who the "Average University Student" is. I'd also like to know who the person is that comes up with such boring categorical names. My job     I have the best job in the world. I get to wear a slick green apron, I have the choice of hair-net or baseball cap, and on special occasions, I am bestowed with the honor of wearing a deluxe paper-pizza-chef hat. It looks excellent, and it drives the girls crazy. I punch my time-card, and proudly march to my designated position behind the deli counter. That's where all the magic starts to happen.     The customers that come in are always kind and courteous. They are delighted by our delectable selection and astounding customer service. Our products are as fresh as the day they were placed in their preservative-packed protective plastic wrap. The counters glisten with a new-born shine as the gentle sunlight kisses their reflective, silver surface. I often find myself quitely enjoying the wonderous looks of amazement on the faces of our dearest patrons as they marvel at the cleanliness and shimmering beauty of our first-class display cases.     What I like most about my job is working for the most beautiful, and qualified employer I've ever been lucky enough to meet. Their interpersonal skills are unmatched, and their attention to employee comfort and emotional well being is their most defining and majestic quality. They lead by example. Always warm and inviting, they effortlessly show the rest of the staff what it really means to love your job. More to come ...     I must admit, at one point I actually considered NOT GOING TO UNIVERSITY. The reason I changed my mind is actually quite logical. See for yourself. ![]() |
